Welcome to Yolo County Housing's Online Pre-Application! We thank you for your interest in the housing programs we offer. Yolo County Housing (YCH) maintains waiting lists for a variety of housing types. Our online application is an easy step-by-step process designed to work with you in placing your name on one or more of our wait lists.

Tips for Success: In order to submit a successful pre-application, it is important that you have all the information needed to complete the application with you when you start this process. The information you will need to have with you appears below:

  • Names, date of birth and Social Security number for all household members.
  • Information about employers, income (including benefit income such as Social Security, including that received for minor children) and assets of every household member.

Important: You must complete the entire form to have a valid pre-application. At the end of this pre-application process, you will have an opportunity to print a receipt. Please retain this receipt for your records.

Before beginning, if you are not sure about which programs or communities are a right choice for you, please go back to our website and review the property and program descriptions before beginning this application process.

Completing the Application

  • As you complete the process, please look for the following:

An asterisk (*) means that the information requested is required. Failure to complete a section marked with * will result in an incomplete pre-application that will not be considered for admission to the wait list.

  • To move from one step of the pre-application to another, you must use only the buttons at the bottom of the pre-application. Use of any other option - such as right-clicking the mouse, using the forward or back browser symbols - will cause an error and will require that you start a new pre-application.

  • The Begin button is below. Other steps in the process will have buttons marked "Next," "Back," "Confirm" and/or "Submit" that will allow you to navigate forward and back within the pre-application.

Click the Begin button to start the process.
